Welcome to my Piece of the West
Hi! I’m Chrissy, an artist with a deep passion for the nostalgia and romance of the American West.
I’m a professional artist, wife, and mother with a lifelong love for creating. My journey started at age five, sketching comic strips from the newspaper and cartoons from TV. I would spend hours lost in my drawings, but what brought me the most joy was creating for others.
Photography became a part of my artistic path as a way to gather references for my paintings, but it quickly turned into something more. By 2018, I had become a professional photographer. The cowboy lifestyle naturally spoke to me when my family and I moved to Texas in 2015, and since then, it has become an essential part of my life. Today, I’m not only an artist but also a mother to five amazing kids, and my family and I breed and show Texas Longhorns on our North Texas ranch.
The West is alive and thriving.
My love for the West wasn’t something I was born into—it was something I found when we moved to Texas. I’ve always loved horses, but becoming a first-generation Texas Longhorn breeder gave me a true understanding of Western life. The resilience, faith, and sense of community that define ranching and cowboy culture inspire every piece I create.
Though I’ve been drawing since childhood, Western art became my true passion. Now, I use my brush to capture the spirit of the cowboys and cowgirls who make this way of life so special.
My goal? To create art that brings joy, sparks nostalgia, and makes you smile every time you see it. Because the West isn’t just a place—it’s a mindset. And I’m here to keep it alive, one brushstroke at a time.
