This original oil painting celebrates joy, freedom, and the playful spirit of the American West. Blending vintage charm with expressive brushwork and vibrant color, this cheerful cowgirl invites viewers to pause, smile, and embrace life’s simple moments.

Every painting begins with photographs I have taken, then grows into something more through imagination, memory, and my own experiences living the Western way of life. As a ranch wife and first-generation cowgirl raising and showing Texas Longhorn cattle, I paint from a place of genuine connection to the people, traditions, and landscapes that continue to inspire me.

With her head thrown back in laughter and bubbles spilling over the rim of an old galvanized stock tank, she captures the carefree optimism that has always been part of the Western spirit. The painting celebrates resilience, authenticity, and finding joy in ordinary moments. My hope is that each piece brings happiness into a home while reminding viewers that the Western way of life is still alive and thriving.
